This game was created for my master's thesis, in which I am comparing four versions of the same level. If you'd like to participate, please play and fill out a survey for each version of the level. The survey opens once automatically, when you return to the main menu from a level. This version of the game automatically collects gameplay data. A stable internet connection is required to play. About the Game
Bergsteiger is a mountain climbing game set in Austria. In this version, players explore our handcrafted introductory level "Hermannskogel", collecting beautiful flowers, meeting the lovely local innkeeper, and finding their own way to the peak. Face a fun challenge while mastering the slingshot movement mechanic to reach the top of the leaderboard.

About the development of the game
This game was created by a team of two. Its purpose is mainly to serve as a basis for our master's thesis. However, we hope to release a full version of the game with more levels and mechanics at some point in the future.
