I3ergsteiger

I3ergsteiger is a mountain climbing game about an Austrian girl exploring the mountains of her home country. Using our unique slingshot movement mechanic, players can explore the introductory level "Hermannskogel", where there is a lot to explore: from beautiful collectible flowers to secret paths and small puzzles.

Checkpoints can be placed along the way, allowing for a more relaxed experience even when taking risks. If more help is desired, the lovely local innkeeper offers helpful items in exchange for coins, such as a map acting as guiding light to the mountain's peak or a hearty meal for a more powerful jump.

More competitive players can compete for the top spot on the leaderboard where a combination of speed, precision, but also thoroughness is key to achieve the top spot, since every coin and collectible contributes to your final score

About the development of the game
This game was created by a team of two. Its original purpose was mainly to serve as a basis for our master's thesis. However, we hope to release a full version of the game with more levels and mechanics at some point in the future. 💛
